Yokohama Marine Tower is a beautiful landmark located in the Minato Mirai district of Yokohama, Japan. We had the pleasure of visiting this iconic tower during our trip to Japan, and we were immediately struck by its striking design and beautiful location by the water. The tower’s impressive height and unique shape make it a must-visit attraction for anyone traveling to Yokohama.

The tower is the tallest lighthouse in Japan, standing at 106 meters tall, and it offers stunning views of the surrounding area from its observation deck. We took the elevator to the top and were blown away by the panoramic views of Yokohama’s harbor and the city skyline. The view was particularly beautiful at night, when the city lights created a dazzling display of colors that was simply breathtaking.

In addition to its observation deck, Yokohama Marine Tower is also home to a variety of shops, restaurants, and other attractions. We also enjoyed trying some of the local cuisine at the tower’s restaurants, which included delicious seafood and other Japanese specialties.

One of the highlights of our visit to Yokohama Marine Tower was the interactive exhibits located on its lower floors. These exhibits offer visitors a chance to learn more about the history of Yokohama and the role that the port has played in Japan’s development. The exhibits are engaging and informative, making them a great option for families with children.

Another unique feature of Yokohama Marine Tower is its “Diamond Veil” lighting system. This system allows the tower to change colors at night, creating a stunning display of lights that can be seen from miles away. We were lucky enough to see the tower lit up in different colors during our visit, and it was truly a sight to behold.
